Climate Change: The State of Science

Globaïa is a non-profit organization founded in Québec, Canada, that is committed to disseminating information about socio-ecological issues with global effects. Recently, they released a short film that talks about the impact of human activities on climate change. The video above is the French version narrated by Karine.

In other news, Karine has been cast in Philtruma love story set in different time periods in Israel. It’s currently being made as a short film, but director Rachel Chaya Zisser hopes to eventually find a studio that will finance the project and turn it into a full length movie. The production takes place in California, where Karine is also filming her episodes in Revenge.

Bonne Fête, Karine!

Around this time last year, Backstage put you in their list of 30 performers to watch out for and since watching your new performances, I’ve become more excited for coming years where bigger things are surely waiting for you. I hope you’re having the loveliest day, dear Karine. Happy birthday! - x Fran

The 2013 Birthday Project: Get your messages in!

fuckyeahkarinevanasse:

Hi all, this post is just a reminder that there’s only 5 days left until Karine’s 30th birthday, which means 5 days to get your message/dedication into the Birthday Project. If you didn’t see my previous posts, the birthday project is basically a way of collecting together some birthday messages for Karine from her fans. You can do it however you want - a simple written message, a video message/dedication, animated gifs, artwork, whatever! It’s really simple, all you need to do is go here to submit your message and if you have any questions, there is an FAQ available or alternatively you can email me at webmaster@karine-vanasse.com

On Sunday November 24th all your messages will be collated together and posted on the blog and a link will be tweeted to Karine. If she misses that then I can also DM it to her so I know that she’ll definitely see it. :) I’d really love it if we can get as many messages as possible because c’mon, it’s her 30th! I’d also like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who has contributed so far. :) THANKS GUYS ILU! <3

SUBMIT YOUR MESSAGE HERE

So happy to do this again with the rest of the fans. Thanks, everyone. Looking forward to your submissions :)
